I need a little help. I had a 2006 Dyna, when I traded it in, I had the saddlebags transferred to my new 2012 Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not long afterward some jerk broke into them. I have rigid locking leather saddlebags. The left saddlebag lock I was able to repair. The right saddlebag lock was taken and the lid smashed. I checked with my Harley dealership and was told I'd have to buy a new right side saddlebag. Right now I can't afford to put out $ 400 for a new one. Does anyone know where I might find another right side saddlebag for less? If I can get just the locking lid that would be great. The rest of the saddlebag is undamaged. Hate to have to replace the whole thing for just the lid. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Try E-bay, they sell a lot of used biker things. Keep searching the Internet as a set is out there, you just have to get lucky to connect with who's selling.
Thanks jrpub202 and blueangel73 for the quick reply.
Had thought of ebay but didn't think they had stuff like saddlebags, parts, etc.
blueangel73, the part number is 91615-09A

Thanks FatBobJob. The hyperlink failed, but I appreciate the help. I figure it will take some time to find what I'm looking for and am willing to wait. I'll just keep looking until something turns up.
Because of Harley Davidson's unwillingness to help, I was forced to create a work around to solve the lock problem. I found what I needed at Walmart and Lowes, in of all places, the plumbing department. I'm posting pics of the lock assembly I created. It aint pretty, but it works. If anyone else has a problem like mine, check out the pics. Let me know and I'll tell what I used.
