Stage 1 confusion???
If you are on a really tight budget, just get the XEID's and call it a day (or whatever ones nightrider suggest)
If you know you are just doing stage one and want your bike the best it can be then find all the dyno tuners in your area and pick the best one. I think both dynovision and TTS have a deal where you can use the tuners tuner and pay a license fee (between 150-200) and then pay the dyno tuner around 300. You could have it dialed in and reflashed into perfection for 500 bucks without buying a tuner. No fussing and no playing around...just ride.
If you do buy a tuner and go another route, make sure you know what your buying...fuelpak and a few others will just adjust fuel and are NOT full tuners.

Improved flow through Exhaust can be just pipes or headers also options from moderate to extreme you call your check book.
Increased air in take to feed that exhaust, Lot of options slight increase ,just a filter change or a whole AC change for Max flow you can get.
A Tune to match the mods you made.
Dyno best one shot you can get Expensive and not flexible over kill on a stage 1 of any level.
ECM dealer download. Ok but just bring you back to a pretty much stock Air to fuel not a budget buster but not cheap 100-150.
Xied's to fool o2 senors to add some fuel. Short term band-aid.
Piggy back fuel managers Most riders can install them on their own. Med cost some flex in making changes and adjustments most easy to us. But they have limits.
Real fuel managers, They flash the ECM. Much better results at a little higher cost.
Most riders can install them on their own. Many have canned maps available, so you can just flash one that will work for your style riding Example Power vision.
They offer the most flex and option.
If you go cheap short cuts you end up with a cheap short cut.
And likely will spend more and do it right latter anyway.
If you take your time pick pipes and headers You like and do it right you end up with a ride that fits your needs and style of riding.
Want a great deal on a stage 1 Fuel Moto package deal, give Jamie a look at least.
The OP is not going to go beyond that, so in the lifetime of his bike, a small price to pay to have it dialed into perfection.
