For those of you who have the HD clamp on style windshields, do the clamps leave marks of any kind on the forks? I would like to get one for longer trips, but don't want anything leaving marks on the forks. Thanks for any info.
The inside of the clamps have rubber strips to get a better grip and to leave no marks. I have had mine on and off a number of times and see no damage.
I've had mine for over five years and it will eventually leave some smudges, but those can be buffed out. Otherwise ya, on or off in ten secs, and you get great wind protection.
