stupid Q I have an 89 fxr & took the 4 indicator lites out of the headlite dome thing to fix but now cant remember in what order they were in would someone tell me or point to a pic of them

Looking at the panel from the rider's seat:

far left bulb is Blue (hi-beam)
2nd from left is Green (neutral)
2nd from right is Amber (turn sigs)
far right is Red (oil)

You should be able to verify the correct positions by turning on the ignition switch and activating the appropriate switches/shift lever.
