left turn signalcoming on at random

please help,I have a 04 ultra and left turn signal just comes on at random.I replaced all the bulbs and that didnt help. I hate to have to take it in for this,please help

If the bulbs come on I would not have replaced the bulbs,after all they are working. I would lean toward the switch itself.

Have you change the bars lately it sounds like there's a pinched wire in the hand controls on the left side or as captain itch said it could be the switch

yes, both previous replies probably apply to your situation. a pinched wire, or something in the switches is shorted out in the housing. easy to find, if you can see the problem once you remove your switch housings. will most likely show as a burned or smoky area inside the switch housing.

I'd cover that front lens up while you're troubleshooting.....don't want some bluehair to think your turning when you're not.

My 01 EGC the blinker would just come on and I had to hit the switch to cancel it the the other one would do the same.....Took it in and they put a new modual in it(warrenty),said it was going in to sidecar mode....ok whatever I said.....now both flash 3 times before I start it...bike runs good so I ingnore it now...

I had the same problem on my old bike. It was a bare wire from when they relocated the rear blinkers. Check the wiring first from whatever has been messed with. It's annoying as hell isn't it???
