Default Sensor Identification/Oil Leak

I have what appears to be a sensor that has a minor leak and I’m wondering if anyone can identify it and possibly recommend a fix? Wrap the threads in some Teflon possibly? IDK, just a thought – not sure if that is a fix for that sort of thing. It might not be the actual threads where the leak is originating from.

That's not a sensor, it's where the regulator plugs into the stator. You're getting an early warning that the stator will need to be replaced.

Thanks for at least putting me in the right direction identifying the issue; appears that some black RTF silicone is a potential fix:

this appears to be a known issue on these….. will have to give that a shot and see if I can make the fix work

Clean the area real good with some brake cleaner and seal with some black rtv (silicone sealant). May not have been sealed very well at the factory.

ditto, try using a rtv silicon sealant as mentioned above (not to be confused with a silicon adhesive)
