Default Motorcycle servicing question
I have a '13 Street Bob, I did my 1000 mile dealer service about a month ago now. Im at about 2800 miles and was wondering what other types of services I should either get done or do myself on the bike? What's your guys/gals service routine?

X2, fill it with gas and twist the throttle for another 2K.

Check oil level and monitor your tire pressure, test your lights and horn before every ride, make sure your mirrors are properly adjusted before starting the bike.... and uh, wash weekly.

Get the manual and do it all yourself.

Speaking of 1000 mile service, I'm coming up on that very soon on mine. Looking in the owner manual, moat everything looks doable but I'm not sure about the neck adjustment and the "critical fasteners". Should I just change the fluids myself but take it somewhere for all the adjustments? I have a nice set of tools, but no torque wrenches. What do u guys think?

buy the factory service manual from HD then a couple torque wrenches from harbor freight ft/lbs and inch/lbs and do the services yourself what you save on one service alone will cover the costs of the torque wrenches
