rickshog-----i cut the pvc the same lenght as the wideglide.
-----You probably dont have to take the tubes out of the triple trees but i did and i believe it would be alot earier if you did.
-----No you dont have to split the tubes. Just pop the cap off remove the spacer, washer and spring--then remove the seat pipe screw. Thats it for dissasembly.
