im switching from forward to mid controls, any tips?

If you are on a fatbob/wideglide the right hand foot bracket will be very close to the front down pipe and may mark it. The other changes are a handful. You should find someone with a mid mount system and do a complete swap over. This will include the inner and outer primary cases, brake lever connecting rods etc Other things to consider are the reduced reach forwards kit and heel rests. They do make a difference when used together in place of mids.

 

Take two Advil and get some Ben Gay to rub on your knees.
