I am running all my electronics through the GRIP ACE so my switch housings are gone. Now I have a 2" gap between the grips and the clamps. Does anyone make hand controls that do not have this gap designed into them? 9/16 front brake...
Not sure about the clutch side since I went Jockey shift, but I got a Joker machine brake setup. Plenty of aftermarket out there; Joker, J-Brake, Hawg Halters, Performance Machine etc. Google "Harley hand controls", should give you a good start on the search.
The issue with the aftermarket is the length of the lever. If you want the lever to be flush with the end of the grip, then there will be a gap between the grip and the control mounting bracket. This can be solved by switching to a shorter lever, IIRC some of the aftermarket manufacturers offer shorty levers. I just used the small gap as a mirror mounting point, and since everything is black, the gap is hardly noticeable.
