Some I was talking to had a good idea. He has a Dyna since most of the rides are short/local and rents a touring bike from HD for any longer rides a few times a year. Saves some cash not owning the bagger and making monthly payments and insurance on it.
Most likely there are more out there for a street glide than there is for a Dyna.
SG's can easily can be changed to fit a tall rider.
There are forward controls for the Floorboards, less restrictive seats that are comfortable.
Mustang and many other seat makers make em for tall riders.
I have a buddy that is 6'9" and rides a Ultra. He loves it. He added forwards for his floorboards and a less restrictive seat. It still doesn't accommodate him fully but he is happy. He has a 36inch inseam.

Yeah, I'm 6' 02" and have a 36" inseam. My WG came with forward controls that fit me great. If I could get a SG with forward controls then maybe I'd feel more comfortable on one. I'd like to have one some day, maybe, but my Dyna suits me just fine for now. I do really like the way a SG looks though.
