Kury fwd control extenders installed
I put some kuryakyn 3" forward control extensions on the bike the other day and finally got a chance to test them out today. For anyone on the taller side, I'm 6'5", this is a must do. I didn't think it was going to make that much of a difference but it helps out a good bit. I don't find myself sitting on top of the back of the seat anymore, but I still wish the seat didn't have the rear "lip" to hold me in. The pegs don't seem to scrape anymore than they did before. The only thing that I don't like about the kit is that it only comes in chrome, but it seems to blend in nicely and I'm not too worried about it right now. The install was pretty easy and took about 45 min, they give you a little bit of adjust ability so you can dial in the pedal placement. I just need to lower the heel rests a little bit and I'll be good to go.
