Both covers are exactly the same. I haven't see a round cover like this without a notch, I believe it is for both airflow and to fit those stupid back plastic plates HD uses.

this is a crossbones cover modified , if i recall it is too deep for the SE round backing plate and some needed to be trimemd off, however, i not only trimmed some off the back but also notched it to give it a open look as well ...then had it PC and ordered the SE center piece [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
OK, so I received my DK Customs bobber cover a while ago and finally installed it last night. Turns out the top edge connects with the SE backplate causing a space at the center bolt mount.
What's the recommendation here...1 or 2 washers between the filter and cover as a spacer, or a deeper filter cone? Stupid question, but please humor me...
