Would this fit an 08 wide glide, i dont know what the difference is... the fender struts are all the same width are they not?

OK, now you need to take advantage of that space the reflector took up and slide your plate up, redrill, and cut off the lower portion of the plate support.

I was gonna do that but then got lazy...besides who wants to see more of that ugly a$$ tire?
Can't wait to get some Avon's on there!!

Tht light looks awesome! I am thinking about getting one for my 06 FXDWG but I was wondering.. dont I need to get some sort of compensator? or is it built into the light?

I picked up one off the ebay listing. But it will need to go back. The lens was cracked. Hopefully he handles returns well.

Just got my light yesterday and got it installed. As was previously mentioned, no instructions. Had to modify the housing slightly. The main harness plug would not reach the socket through the slot built in to the back of the housing, so I cut a new slot on the other side with a Dremel. Worked fine after that. Definitely better looking than the stock taillight.
