Default Need A Diagnosis

My bike has been feeling funny lately, as if it's not giving useable power to the rear wheel. Like I'm opening the throttle and it's not taking off like it used to. When I'm on the freeway going 80-90, it feels like there's not much left, if i gun it, it really lugs. When I'm going at slows speeds in stop and go traffic I seem to hear a bit of a rattle from the left side primary. Maybe loose clutch pates? I've adjusted the throttle/clutch a few times and checked the PCV map and it seems all good. The rear feels a little sloppy...it's basically somewhere from the primary back to the rear wheel. Any ideas? Belt slipping? Clutch components? Rear wheel issue?

As a side note, may or may not be related, my speed wobble has gotten way worse. I used to get it only when I was REALLY pushing it, but now its in the 50/60 mph range. I put mag wheels on, added dual disk up front and got a new fork kit. My rear shocks are still stock and I've tried riding on different settings and it hasn't helped. Is the rear not keeping up with the front or something? Or could it be something mechanical out of alignment causing the wobble?

Have you checked your wheel bearings, sloppy feel in the rear and wobble are symptoms of bearings going

Sounds like it could be a number of things... I guess start tinkering around, starting with the easiest stuff first. With the wobble, it very well could be an alignment issue causing your bike to feel like its running laggy. Maybe the mag wheels feel a bit heavier too? I dunno man, wish I could be more helpful.
I'd probably start with the belt and check out the alignment.
Good luck!

Yeah I'm thinking maybe wheel bearing, if the wheel isn't turning right that would make sense, less power, sloppy handling.

Checked that tire pressure lately? Or the brakes are hanging up.

Additional info: I just got about 100 miles on my last tank of gas...not good. Bike is definitely working harder for some reason. Any other opinions are welcomed!

Check those rear wheel bearings, they may be seized or seizing, raise the bike off the ground, spin the wheels, it is either the bearings or brakes that are sticking, those are the simple things to check and would not take much time

Have you checked your engine mount? If you often go 80-90 my bet is, like most of us , you don't baby that girl too much ! I had symptoms like that last year , so I stood next to the bike and gave it a good rev and noticed the engine was jumping up. So I gave it another while keeping my eye on the front engine mount and behold the rubber was travelling within the metal retainers.
