Anyone have experience with LRS shields? I currently have the SuperSport QD, but it just isnt quite what I want. I was hoping to get a recurve from Clearview Shields, but they dont make the design I need.
LRS has universal shields that mount to the handle bars, was wondering if thats the way to go.
I am using handle bar mounted shields on both my Dyna's.
I like small with slight protection that help with buffeting.
If you want real protection you will have to go to a full fairing.
I use the flat top recurve on my street glide, the shield is well made, thick, and they will do custom etching.
this is what I am using on the Dyna bikes.
I like the looks with not much drag.

I mainly just need protection from buffeting with my full face. Dont mind the wind in the face but cant stand the head rattle. I plan on wearing my half helmet as much as possible which isnt bad with the current windshield i have, but if it rains and I need to switch to full face, and thats when the buffeting is horrible.
I just sent them a couple pics of my bars to see it ifs compatible with their universal mount.
The mounts will swivel top and bottom to fit any type of bars.
Look at my photo, we have ape hangers to.
When I talked to the gent on the phone he seemed concerned if there was enough room to mount the brackets. I have about 1.5" on each side before it tapers down to 1" where the risers mount.
