Default TFI settings

I just bought and installed the Dobeck TFI on a '06 Dyna Lowrider. I'm using
an Arlen Ness bigsucker and Dyno Power slip ons. Right now I'm using all the
base settings, I believe 4's across the board. I'm trying to find the best settings.
I've done a search on this forum and Dobeck's forum looking for tune settings.
Also E-mailed them and havn't got a responce yet.
Any suggestions on settings?

Do you have the TFI with six pod settings? Its theGen III 1340STIf so try;

Mode 1 Green .............Just light three blinking green
Mode 2 Yellow.............. lights two and three blinking yellow
Mode 3 Red .....................lights two and three blinking red
Mode 4 Green/Blue................ light 2 blinking green and light 8 blinking blue
Mode 5 Yellow/ Blue............... light 4 blinking yellow and light 8 blinking blue
Mode 6 Red/Blue..................... lights 4 and 5 blinking red with light 8 blinking blue

I spoke to George at Dobeck (1-877-764-3337 ask forGeorge)yesterday and gave this setting forD and D slip ons with a big sucker as well.I went about 200 mi in the Texas Hill Country and got 42 MPG. Hope this helps Brother.

Just got off the phone with George. Their sending me an upgraded version with the
6 settings at no charge. Gave a CC# and they will send me a new one and I got 30
days to return the old one. Now that's service. Thanks for the info Fox.

Mike,

Keep us updated on how that works out for you. I've been toying with trading mine in for the upgraded version, but, I'm really not having any problems with my bike right now. George also offered a free trade for mine. I just don't want to fix what's not broken.

By the way, I can't offer you any setting advice. I'm running my DFO on top of the HD Download and I have different pipes/baffles.

Whiffleboy,

I've got an 06 Dyna Stage I and am thinking of doing a mild build; the question is: how's it going with the DFO? I like the idea of just unpluging it incase the CARB (the air cops) gets me. Oh yeah, nice page, I like your self portrait.

After a 1/2 dozen setting changes, I've basically just boosted the first section all the way up to 8 and left everything else at 0. Plugs look good and it runs just fine.

I got the Gen III model and installed yesterday. "When it was still warm" I started with
the same settings as shown below, but I get a little pop decelling off anything higher than about
3000 R.P.M. I tried the base settings for the stage 1 as shown in the installation instructions,
but that didn't help. Any ideas before I call George.
