Tomorrow will be one week that I have been riding my new 2012 Dyna Switchback. My son just graduated HS and my wife said it was time for me to get another bike. I have had a few over the years but never a Harley and have wanted one since before I could pee. Anyway, I was looking at a 2009 Fat Bob, 2013 Super Glide, and the 2012 Switchback. After riding all three I went with the Switchback. I liked them all but my wife will be riding with me a lot and I think we will both be happier with the Switchback in the long run.
I just passed over 300 miles on it tonight (would have more on it but it rained all week) and I could not be happier. Every time I get a block down the road I grin like a little kid. I have a sissy bar and rack on order (back order!) but honestly it is probably better for me to have some time on the bike before I haul my wife much anyway.
A big Thanks to everyone on the Dyna Forum, I have been lurking here for sometime reading what everyone has to say about everything Dyna. You all helped me a lot in looking for what I wanted.
