You will be happy with the mustang. I have the sundowner and wide vintage. Both are very comfortable seats. The mustang is my favorite because it sets me back farther and is narrower in the front making it easier to plant my feet. Its also a lot better looking.
I have one of the narrow mustang tripper seat's and pillion, I got tired of switching seats back and fourth so now I just put a airhawk seat cushion on the narrow tripper seat for long rides and trips, Its the most comfortable combo I've used ever. There's some pic's of it on my fatbob in my profile.
I had to take my sissy-bar and back rest off to get this seat on but I got it on and I rode about 150 miles today. It seems harder than the old seat but it was definitely more comfortable on my butt and lower back for the entire ride. It did not set me back enough to make any difference but it does set me up higher so I will need to move my highway pegs up and now the top of my windshield is right across my normal line of sight and that will take some getting used to also but I don't use the windshield all that much unless I am expecting rain or going on the freeway.
So far, I am pleased with the seat. I may make a long ride to San Antonio next week to visit the Alamo (lived here for 33 years and haven't been to the Alamo). That is a 3 + hour ride.
