Hey guys gotta couple questions.......Just got my bike dyno tuned after putting in woods tw222 cams. My question is if I were to add these baffles would I need to retune? I woulod not think so. I am thinking it would be nice to have a bit deeper sound and I think these would also bring my numbers up a bit? Anyone running this combo that can chime in from experience?
I am good on decel pop just want a deeper tone and a but more power without going to a two into one pipe. The decel popping can be eliminated by a good tune and from the website these baffles are supposed to help as well.
I have a 2010 Fat Bob with HD breather and BR 2-2 pipes and a Screamin Eagle tuner.
I was told by BCT that I don't need to retune with their baffles. I had no decel popping before the new baffles and no popping after.
The baffles do sound good. Louder but a good loud. Deeper with more growl.
Very surprising though is how they seem to settle down at hwy speeds...quite comfortable....until you twist it again!
I have that set up (BCT QQ) and VH Radius 2 - 2. Stock cam tho. First of all, getting your existing baffles out is ummm fun. Don't really expect a huge change out of this. I probably would have spent my money on something else. Just my chime in.. Good luck.
I also read that getting the VH baffles out was a nightmare. That being said, when i removed the heat shields and the holding screw both my baffles just came out while twisting them with my fingertips....NICE!. Drilled 2 holes 7 inches in and attached the Monster baffles. Great sound and a 1 beer job for me.
As far as videos go, there all over youtube. Just type Big Radius Big City into the search and start listening. No video will do them justice though because of crappy camera mics.....you need to hear them in person.
