Default now need advice on my intake question

couple days ago i asked about that sensor plug on our stock intakes that has no use for us and is used over the pond.. and now that i know there is no use for it i wanted to know if that i zip tie it up to the wire passing through the motor will anything happen to the the plastic clip on it? i don't want it to burn and catch fire or anything and it's plastic so i don't know what to do with it or where to zip tie it out of the way which wont cause anything to happen... does anyone have any idea's?

A picture could help here , but basically as long as there is air between the head and the plastic piece 250 to 300 degrees won't melt that plastic, which I forget the name but this type of plastic is more resistant to heat.

Ya I know what he's going thru. There is not much under there to tye to. And once you get the AC backplate on, there's not much to see either.

I have a stock bike. If it does nothing, why would you want to do this?

He's changing out the ac so he needs to re-secure the wire.

Ya that is an option. Probably still need to protect the ends from accidental contact with something. Would hate to have your bike throwing codes for something that isn't even there. So if you just tye them up and out of the way, atleast you know where they are.

Thanks. I plan on going the "new pipes & AC" soon also. Would this apply to the forward facing SE AC. I want to get that football AC away from my knee when I'm on my highway pegs.
