Default 07 streetbob speedometer ?
Is there a way to get the chrome ring off the top to take the glass out? There are water marks on the inside and they are driving me crazy.

you can remove it, but you have to uncrimp the ring... it is pretty involved

Pain in the A$$.
Mine had the same issues, badly fogged as well.
I replaced mine with a Dakota Digital and will never have the problems again.
Also gained more functionality. Nice to have a Tach now.

I could clean this up for you and mod your gauge at the same time.

So ever1 knows after I get done re-crimping the trim ring I place a bead of silicone around it to help seal the gauge.

Member prices on a single gauge is 60.00 including 2 day priority return mail shipping.

A lot cheaper than a Dakota Digital.

I would say the sealant used when put back together. HD tech told me to drill a hole in the bottom side to stop the fogging or moisture from happening.
