FLD Primary cover, 2-piece?
and if so why does HD only sell the wrinkle black outer?
(bike is in TX I'm in CO for another few weeks…just in case it's a "go look at ur bike dummy" question….)

Inner and outt primary covers. Hd probably and correctly assumes that most wont care if the inner is textured and outter wrinkled. My 12 fxdf has what I consider fine texture black for inner and coarse texture for tje outter. My ild fatboy had chrome outter with texture inner. Guess what chrome accessory they had for the inner primary?

If it is a stock fld the outer primary is plain aluminum. the inner is black textured power coated. most people ( myself included) say that the aluminum is a pain in the *** to keep looking good. I put a chrome outer on mine.
