Look on Harley's online accessory catalog. They list the same fender for several models. Here is the description for the custom fender:

I tried searching on the forum to see if anyone had modified an FXDWG fender to fit on an FXD. Could not find anything. Does anyone have pictures or know where I can get a plate/bracket to mount the fender? Thanks.

You would have to make the bracket. It would be pretty easy to do but you would need the new fender first.Because the wideglide fender is wider you would need to put the mount either forward or behind the forks.Take a few measurements and drill 2 holes in some 12 gauge steel to mount the plate to the stock location on the forks and mark the holeswere the fender will be mounted. You will need 4 spacers or a bunch of washer to extend out to the mounting points. I did something simular but different to mount a 06 wideglide fender to a early frontend. I will see if I can find the link to give you an idea.

Thanks for the info. I'll post a picture when I get it done. I just purchased some "new" sheet metal off a 2000 FXDWG.
