2005 FXDWG EFI electrical problem

Bike just started doing something goofy. First time when I went to start it immediately shutdown and all power went dead. Got it started again and started riding and felt like ignition shutting down off and on constantly. Got bike home and thought maybe ignition switch going bad. Checked battery and ignition switch and cannot find anything wrong. Today I started and it ran for a couple of seconds and shut down but this time the power stayed on so dont think it is the switch. Also notice when it does this now that my electronic fuel gauge and battery gauge go all over the place. Had a friend mention possible bad ignition module? This problem is intermittent as I can get it to stay running for a few minutes sometimes then all of a sudden it shuts down.

Check your battery cables and grounds- need to be clean and tight. Also do the same for your fuses and relays. Nine out of ten times these are usually the causes.
