I've done many frame repairs and agree with the fender mods that come with struts.
Some of them are very cool, a huge improvement really.

Has anyone here installed the voodoo fender? I'm seeing they require you to cut down to the shock mount, then use their bolt on fender/strut. Guess I dont see how that could be stronger than stock. Also, with that set up, I'd think you'd bottom out all the time. Anyone have any detail on it?
I sent the dude an email asking about it, no response yet...

I dont think it is stronger than stock.. Not at all. But it is strong enough.. As you say it mounts in the shock holes. Allso it has a plate welded on that "leanes" to the frame so that it will not hit the rear tire. I think the shocks will bottom out before the fender hitting the rear tire. You will propably have to do a side mount with a taillight, for the number plate. Btw rocketbobs have a howto video on youtube
