Does anyone know if this will fit (gear shift linkage)
Hey guys,
I have been wanting to get this kit for a while but I am not sure if it will fit with forward controls such as on my fxdwg. I mistakenly baught the standard kit from my dealer and it did not fit so I took it back. So I asked about the foward controls and they said no such linkage exists for forwards. (Which I think is a crock and according to HD's website they have one that fit's but I want to double check.) Does anyone have any experience with these and forward controls? . I want to get it to match the rest of the diamond black items I have. Thanks for the help.
Sweet so at least I know it exists I ordered the one for stock fwd controls so it should be golden. I was just unsure if there was even such a thing because my local stealership tried telling me they only made this link for mid controls. Which I thought was crap and dug a little deeper only to find out one does exist it seems. Goes to show ya cant trust the parts dept at your dealership. Check it out youself and bring them a part number or get if online.

When I got a different shift linkage for mine, they had them on the shelf, but said they had to order the one for WGs because of the forward control. Went right on, so guess they knew. I'm blessed with 2 dealers whose parts people REALLY know their stuff.
