I had the vintage and didn't like it at all.

Sounds like you need a low profile solo so you can really sit back like:
Mustang wide day tripper, saddleman renegade(currently own), c&c or Danny gray brand solo seats. These will let you push back and sit as far back as you can.

there are adapters to put your controls about two inches forward from where they are now. can't remember who it was. better than adding a highway bar that you won't like..

You didn't mention your height and inseam numbers. Stressing over the wind is a problem I have on my Custom, when my feet are on the hiway pegs. Seldomly ever use use them because of the wind and the tension it causes my legs.

Have someone narrow the twist in the seat. The twist is what sits in front if you/between your thighs. Mean city cycles can adjust the seat.

I have the same problem and I have a stock seat, but I just ordered a Mustang seat. I don't think its the seat though. I am going to put some heal pegs on the bike, I really think that will help.

Dude what you need is a pair of DK customs bear trap or triple trap foot pegs. The reason your legs are getting tired is likely because you must maintain pressure to keep your feet on the pegs. Those triple traps keep your feet firmly planted, they're only 100$ or so. Worth a try!

i cant speak on the vintage one peice, but i recently put the mustang Tripper tuck and roll seat on mine. It looks killer and is top notch quality. Mine seems to be comfy for about 100 mile jaunts at a time. For me personally it is my tail bone that is screaming, because there is a slight kick up right there. I did give up some function for form as i know it is a slimline solo seat and cant expect a king and queen comfort level. However, I have found some relief with throwing my heals up on the forward pegs, or if the Mrs. isnt with me i put em back on the pass pegs for a bit, almost in a street bike like stance...I know i know....but it does give some relief for me when needed. But hopefully like previously said once broke in more it will be more forgiving for ya! I still stand by mustang seats though as they have always been the best for me and my bikes, i quess you just got to find the right one for your config...good luck
