Default Eyebrow plucking

01FXLD's (and many others) have an eyebrow over the headlight which have the inset indicator light bar andthe h-lamp with topmount. I've been looking to change/eliminate thisand remount the indicator light bar and h-lamp. Can't seem to find anything sold, displayedor resolve mounting concerns. Someone out theremust have gone down the road.

Any ideas? any pictures?

I got a duplicate eyebrow, carved it down in size and had it powder coated black. Not all that pleased, don't think its quite enough change but its way better than stock alum. look. Before I go to the expense of shop time to change over part, I thought I'd run this out there.

I just did a headlight swap on my FXD. https://www.hdforums.com/m_1148364/tm.htm

My indicator lights were not effected. But Headwinds makes a filler piece that will hold the lights on a FXDL. Part #6-0005

DynaMike,

I have done this with my 02 FXd and 02FXDL. I used all HD parts using the part numbers off of a Sportster Custom. The FXD was easy since the indicator lights are on the speedo mount. I just bought the Low Rider, so I don't have everything finished on it yet. I am using a handlebar clamp off of a Sportster Custom to move the lights to the handlebar clamp. I am not quite done because I had to order the lights and light bezel for the clamp. I have seen many responses on this site regarding moving the indicator lights to the dash panel on FXDL's. I thought about it, but decided to try the Sportster clamp. I originaly thought the stock lights would fit in the clamp but they didn't. Thats why I had to order the lights and so forth.

I just looked at the part that Crowtdog mentioned. I might order it and forget the clamp idea. It looks like a very clean way to keep the factory wires and lights. http://www.headwinds.com/mountsHARLEY.htm
