I have a Corbin Dual Tour on my FXDC. I bought it used off of a fellow forum member for about 1/2 price of a new one & it was basically new. So, I have had no dealings with the company.
I love the seat...really sucks to hear about their customer service. It's a great seat for the rider & passenger & the quality is top notch.

Well, if I end up trading my Dyna in for a new Road King this winter, my Corbin Dyna seat will be for sale if anyone wants to buy a like new one for 1/2 price & not have to deal with the company..

Hey...

I contacted my bank and supplied them with records of the receipt, emails, phone conversations, and an explanation of what happened. I also supplied them with a printout of their BBB complaints along with other internet forum complaints.

I got the money credited to my account, and it was decided (after they spoke to Corbin) in my favor. Corbin still has time to appeal my bank's decision, and if they do, then the bank will contact me.

But for now I got my money back, and that's great.

It really sucks reading this thread and seeing many people screwed over by them. I hope this thread stay alive so that people can read not only of my experience but how they treated other forum members here as well.

I gotta say as much as I love my Corbin seat, and I really do, I won't ever buy from them again. I must've got the one dude who gives a **** on the phone when I called to place my order. I consider myself very lucky that he got it right. Otherwise, I'd be in a similar mess.

Izzy; Glad you got your money back. Wish that i had read this before Sturgis that year. I bought a corbin saddle while there. The guy I dealt with could not have been less interested in talking to me. I figured he was an anomaly but clearly, this is the way they are with customer relations. I love the saddle but there are a lot of other good saddle makers out there. I'll shop elsewhere next time.

Thanks for sharing your experience, and I'm glad you got your money back. Corbin is officially off my list.

I've ordered 2 Corbin seats in the past & they were by far the best most comfortable seats I ever had. They built the seats exactly to the specs I ordered, and they are still going strong today as I see them often because I've sold those bikes to friends I ride with.
You're experience is almost unbelievable. It's hard to believe Corbin would treat customers like this over 1 frikkin' seat, with all the competition from other companies out there.
Good luck-I'm sure your CC will handle it for you-put some of that interest you pay to work!

I feel the exact opposite. All I hear and read about is Corbin flat out not giving a **** about the average customer. However, you put them on a show or give them a high profile build or customer, and they will act like saints going above and beyond.

I'm sure most of us here are not famous or rich and don't have a show, but it doesn't give them the right to treat people so shitty and in some cases ( as posted in this thread) to flat out ROB them of their money.

As far as specs to order yeah that's some BS right there because corbin can't even make a seat to go on a stock harley fit correctly. The people that do get one to fit right I feel are either lucky or it fits but not with a craftsmanship that it should have.

All corbin gives a **** about now is selling that company and pocketing as much cash as they can (via any means or customer lash back) and walking away from the company.
