Bad for you. My luck was better. My first call I disconnected by accident. They wouldn't pick up after 3 repeated call backs. Used the work phone and got thru to a pleasant gal. Shipped right out in a week. Just the way I wanted it. The rest is a different story. La Rosa black distressed leather bag. A couple days in the sun, Brown. V$H slip-ons, 2 nuts didn't fit the supplied bolts. Kuryakyn extended reach brake pedal, same as stock. Seems like nobody really gives a dog pile any more.
I like to think my being a customer is valued by the company I buy from. If I get the feeling they really don't give a sh** I avoid that company. I will not buy from this company.
I like their product, they make a nice seat. I have never had to deal with their customer service so all that is good to know.
Joe
Ditto - no problems with the actual product from my end. Ordered mine through my Stealer here in the UK - the first seat came wrong, but my Stealer sorted it all out on my behalf, just had to wait a bit longer for my very expensive seat.
Again just initiate a chargeback and ask your credit card company how to proceed. If nothing else a chargeback is a pain in the a-- and will waste some of their time.
Good luck and let us know how this ends up.
Initiate the chargeback.
Keep the seat.
Mess them around as hard as they slapped you in the face.

Plus 1.
I was in the market for a new seat and was interested in a Corbin.
There's no way on earth I'd buy from a company that deals with customers like that. I am disgusted.

I had the same experience as Izzyryder. Told them no stitching twice and seat arrived with the flying wheel and flames. Got zero reply by email and a tough $hit by phone. These morons are out of control. I've had 4 different seats by them but this is the last for sure.
I was screwed over buy Corbin more than 20 years ago. I bought a used Beemer in the early 90s that had a Corbin seat on it. I figured a matching tank cover would look good with it so I ordered one from Corbin. When it arrived, the hole was way too small for the gas cap to fit through.
They had obviously made a mistake when making the tank cover, so I sent it back. This was before email and the world wide web, so most everything was done by mail (long distance phone calls were expensive back them too).
After waiting a month or two, I finally called to find out where my replacement tank cover was. They pretended like they didn't know what I was talking about and said they never received or authorized a return. I didn't insure the package when I sent it via USPS - didn't know any better back then, so I never did get my new tank cover or money back.
I've read so many bad things about Corbin customer service, as much as I wanted to try one of their seats, I decided not to risk the aggravation. Instead, I bought an Ultimate seat for my Fatboy. Just did a 6-hour ride and was surprised how comfortable it was. It is big and fat, though. But no soreness after the ride, either. I would have been in serious discomfort with the stock seat after 2 to 3 hours.
