Corbin makes the Sparrow, typical feel good, politically correct vehicle.
IIRC, Corbin also had some interest in the last generation Indian made in nearby Morgan Hill, Ca.
I live close enough to Corbin to make a seat purchase in person. Thanks for the heads up.
I had a corbin on my softail and really, really liked that seat. 570 miles in 10-1/2 hours and my butt was happy. I was really thinking about putting a corbin saddle on my ultra, but, after reading this thread I think I will take my stock seat to a guy here in San Diego that will do a custom job for me.
Corbin, another customer leaves without buying anything!
I had the exact opposite experience when I went down there and had a seat made (May 2013). The people were great and friendly. The thing about the glue was true, California has many "great" rules to protect everyone...
There is many options for the seat bottom for stitching, I don't know why they didn't give you the choice.
I have never sat on a more comfortable seat also by the way. I almost fell asleep out in the desert because it was so damn comfy.

He was making seats for the Indian, and when they "closed shop", Indian owed him quite a bit of money. I've read a few times that the guy who did the rebirth of Indian didn't actually have the legal right to, don't know if that is true, I just read it in a Magazine.

I'm sure it is true.. After everything Americans did to those Indians you bet your *** they are going to get one over on us any way they can. Especially when it comes to gettin' our american money.

I don't know. Why do they ship people seats that don't fit the bikes they were ordered for? Or make customers with appointments wait hours on end? Or make you pay shipping and wait 5-7 weeks for a mistake they made..
Because they are tools and don't give a rats *** about anyone. Including you. Seems you have just been fortunate enough not to experience that for yourself. Hope you never have to. You may see realize just how fast that opinion would change.. Just like mine and all the other members here.
Check out C&C seats while you are at it. Good company and product...
This.
Had a Corbin Gunfighter on my '94 Sportster & loved it. Was considering a Corbin for my '02 FXD, but this convinced me to go C&C instead. Sits as good as my old Corbin & the price let me go with brown leather seating with black side/trim panel, diamond tuck stitching & re-covering the sissybar to match.
Wow glad I saw this, I'm going for a solo seat on my Dresser because of the mods I've done to the rear of the bike, the link to Corbin is now out of the folder I had for seats.
