I just did a google search for chrome shock covers and a whole bunch of them came up, you will need to have the dimensions of the Monroe shock to find some that fit. These are a Corvette shocks(if i'm not mistaken), so I imagine that there has to be a set out there that will fit. I am interested in the air ride set as well on a wide glide, so I'd be interested in what you find.
I did this mod to a 09 dyna. Put the compressor and solenoid under the seat. Gauge and switch mounted to the fuse cover so that you could see it while riding. Only real problem I had was when completely slammed the rear brake line coming from the caliper was stretched alittle. A one and a half to two inch longer one would have fixed that. Also I used a 98c compressor and had to take the stem that holds the fitting off for it to fit under the seat. For some reason with this taken off it would produce a leak that no matter how much Teflon tape i put on it would leak so I took the whole system off. I will post some pics when I get to a computer
sorry guys we had some issues this weekend with our website i had to resolve and did not get the install completed... i did however make the mounts and powder them to tuck it behind the pipe on the front frame rail... just need to install now!

Joe how much for a mount and where are you putting your solenoid at?
no you can not strip them and chrome them you wouldhave to tear them completely down and remove the baffles, this is not a simple job. our shop rebuilds shocks all the time and i am not even going to take that on. if you figure out an easy way to do it please let me know
Spray on chrome, find someone close by who does it by contacting the company. They will look good and last...
i will get rocking on it this weekend... we have been working 10am-7pm, break for dinner and then back from 9-3am daily... ya we are slammed and still trying to keep up the fast turn arounds. as you can imagine my own projects are on the shelf while we work on customer stuff. My bike is up on the lift though, trust me i want it off as soon as possible! hahaha ill post full pics/write up as well
