I'm currently rockin Nightster bars on top of 6" risers. I find that I've got too much pullback with this setup when I'm gettin blasted with wind on the freeway.
So now I'm lookin at either Wild1 WO563 (10" T-bars) or Westcoast 10" MX Tbars. I can't decide. I keep goin back and forth.
I like the west coast bars. Got 10" tbars on my street bob and got 12" mx bars coming for my tsport. Minimal pullback and very comfortable. I have also read good things about the Wild1 bars but have no experience with them.
I voted for the Wild 1 10" Chubby's as that is what I have, but I don't think you could go wrong either way. I was thinking the West Coast MX bars, but the lead time I read on here seemed long and DK had the Chubby's in stock. Patience wasn't my virtue at the time.
forbidden risers with pro tapers, look dope and you can roll your bars if needed, or if you want west coast get those at least west cost and forbidden are local to contra costa county.

What cables did you have to change out to? I have the stock bars on my 13 WG and have been looking into getting T Bars. I have way too much pull back with the stocks and its enoying as hell. Also how tall are you? I am 5'11 and want to be sitting more upright. I also dont want to be a damn sail on the freeway either though.

Running the stock cables. If you went with 12", you would have to change cables out. I am 5'7". Bars sit slightly below shoulder height. I think 12" bars would put my hands at shoulder height or slightly above.
I definitely prefer the T-Bars over apes now that I have them.
I'm gonna swap out the throttle and clutch cables anyway just due to them being old (my bike is a '92 FXR). I'm thinking of going +2 just to give a little extra. Good or bad idea?
