I'm doing the same bag kit on my WG. Have the brackets, lids, and bags that need modified to fit shocks. I'm planning on leaving the bags installed because I like having a place to lock up my stuff. It looks good but I'm thinking I might want a different fender and filler panels. Thanks for posting your ride. Looks good and great for ideas to go further with it if you choose to latter on.

I think your setup looks great! It is amazing how versatile the Dyan platform is. I have QD (Edge brackets) Hardstreet bags that work great, but those CV bags/mount look top notch. I have thought about getting the batwing, but don't want to change the headlight on my FB.
Do you have any issues with buffeting?

No issues with buffeting so far but I havent done any thing over about 70mph yet. Only time I felt any buffeting was when just wearing a ball cap, I'd guess going from the 5" shield to the 7 or 9" would cure that but it was minor and turning my hat around solved it. I'm 5'9" so adjust accordingly. It does drastically reduce the wind and reduce fatigue.

where did you get the 7" headlight? Was it made specifically for the street bob? Did you have to custom bolt it up?

Your bike looks great!! Thanks for your help

Thanks man. I'd have to check but the headlight was an inexpensive fat boy style light that I painted. Bolts right on. I think I bought it from bkrider but would have to look it up again.

Nice mods. I like it vary much.

From1997 to 2005 my Fxdl was a bagger with FXRP moded fairing and fiberglass bags, BSA 1952 front fender and Fat boy back fender.

Now trying to make up my mind if to make Duo-glide Dyna out of my Fatbob or buy Swichback next year or 2.
