From the time my feet hit the floor at 6AM this morning I knew it would be a shitty day at work and I was correct. At 3:30 I said "F-This!". Pulled on my jeans and boots, opened the garage door and blasted down to the beach. Stopped at the old Oak Beach Inn parking lot. Breathed in some cool sea air and blasted home. Shut the garage door at 4:35 and was a new man!
Cannot remember a similar mind cleansing ride on my old Road King. The FXDC is truly fun to ride. Great choice!!
I know that exact location well. I grew up on Long Island but left when I turned 18 (almost 35 years ago). You just pulled up some very found memories (with the young ladies!) and you sir, just made my day................

AFMM3, if you ever return to Long Island I will find you a ride so you can return to your old haunts. Nothing like riding through the Dakotas but we can cruise Freeport's watering holes, take Ocean Parkway to the OBI then blast out to Greenport's Claudio's dockside. This has become the weekend destination for Long Islanders who don't have the time or inclination to go over the bridge for the twisties of upstate NY or Connecticut. The place has changed in 35 years for sure. I love going back in time. I just turned 60 on Monday and am making a list of places I visited in the past and want to revisit. Hawaii tops the list.
Sorry to rant but my family has a had a home near Claudio's for years. I attached a pic of a sunrise I took last year.
Liv'n the dream...riding's the best/cheapest therapy on the market.
Best...yes. cheapest....not so sure. Mods to the ride drain my account faster that even a therapist would! Maybe I just don't have as bad of problems as most. Lol.
Btw, great sunset pic Antonio. That looks peaceful as hell.
