On two recent hwy trips cruising at 70-75 mph in 5th gear I was averaging 40-42mpg. When the display goes below 10 miles it will read Fuel Low, at that point I have approx another gallon of gas. Longest I have gone without refueling is about 180 miles on a tank.
The light goes on at about 120 miles for me, around town that is. I get 35-38 MPG around town. On the highway it goes up to about 45 maybe more, probably get over 150 miles before the light goes on.
Now FILLING the damn thing without making a mess...that is harder than it should be.
I get between 38-42 my local indy that installed my cams told me to watch the mpg and said if your getting better than the mid 40's your running to lean. I had mine tuned after the cams and I still get what I listed above and I like to get up and go now and again LOL
SO let say I get on average 39mpg and my tank is 4.7gal I should be in the neighborhood of 180 miles on a tank but that would be bone dry pushing it to a gas station.
I fill about 150 because I am ****. That and I ride it like I stole it. 2013 WG full stage 1 I run a little fat because my air intake is a stage II for fueling a 107 and 777 cams later down the road. I am sure I could push it to 170 or so with ease but I am **** and dont like that damn fuel warning light on or my gas being in the red.
