You can check tire pressure, maybe do the alignment check in the HD SM, but my $$ is on the TT or Sputhe as the answer - certainly would not sell my bike over the mod.
Not just over that. I see my old Softail as a Cadillac and my dyna as a Civic lol.

A civic? that's crazy! if the softail is a cadillac then i see the dyna as a camero!
dynas handle better than any hd
when you put a true track (never used a sputhe) on you notice the difference for sure, it is not just to help you "not wipe out " in a corner but makes the bike feel drastically more stable . if i were to buy i new dyna tomorrow it would be the first thing i would do
true track is not going to lessen vibration, it actually has a better chance of increasing it
My bike was very loose cornering. I rebuilt the swing arm, put Progressive shocks on the rear and installed Riccor Intimators in the forks. I always check air pressure and run good rubber. I don't feel any need to install a TT. It's as tight as a 16 year old virgin now. If a Soft Tail is a Cadillac, my Dyna is a Corvette.

Unless you attached the rebuilt swingarm to the frame, I still believe you could be susceptible to wobble when cornering, it is just the physics of the transmission mounted swingarm. But if you are not experiencing any wobble now, I would not do the TT either.
A true track will make a huge difference int eh way the bike handles. My Dyna already handled great and then I put on a True Track. The skies opened up and I saw the light. I found it to be well worth the extra money even though at the time of purchase I was not sure how measurable of a difference it was going to make.
