Thinking of installing True Track Stablizer.
Already have fork brace.
Have no problems, but wonder if the True track will be of benifit. Have heard it helps reduce vibration at idle and better cornering. Also it is of benifit with larger bikes like Road glide types.
Would appreciate advice. Its it worth it? Will it cause more problems than its worth? Instation is easy and adjustment is easy?
Thanks,
Roger
If you are not experiencing any problems with your handling, I think I would skip the mod. I was getting rear wheel wobble ever time I started to do some hard cornering - was so unnerving that I had to do something, so I installed the TT and have not had a wobble since. Can't really say that anything else has changed much, maybe feels a little more solid during all turns, bike still vibrates a lot.
The true track (and sputhe) isn't supposed to reduce vibration, and may add a small amount. It is designed to reduce the amount of side to side movement of the drivetrain in the frame when there is increased side loading, such as cornering and high speed curves. I used to get a flat rear tire feeling when going around corners, even at slow speeds, which went away after installing the true track.
No real problem. Just got back from a trip to Big Sur. No wobble. Just wanted to make the riding experience better. Probably will try a shock upgrade first.
Thanks for the replies
Roger

I'm new to dynas, came from a Softail. Is there any other solution out there for that "flat tire feeling"?? I'm almost tempted to sell my dyna cause it corners so damn bad

You can check tire pressure, maybe do the alignment check in the HD SM, but my $$ is on the TT or Sputhe as the answer - certainly would not sell my bike over the mod.
