I have a 2002 wg i had it out today for a ride it is missing out front pipe is hot top pipe is not hot not firing.i guess the plug is fowed i check the coil for fire it fine.my question is what the best plugs to use. i looked up splitfires are they good?
Yep, remove and clean or replace the plugs. (And check the spark plug wires for good connections.) I have not used the splifire plugs yet but some of my friends swear by them. How old is the gas in the tank?
Drain the fuel. I would check before draining if the gas smell like vanish.I If so drain the fuel and ad new fuel and a gas stabilizer, like seafoam tune up.
I've been wrenching on aircraft, cars and bikesall my life (I'm 59+). I only put the plug that goes in it unless engine mods have been made requiring a colder or hotter range plug. It's not worth it if you hole a piston, put in the stock Harley plug so you know you can't go wrong jmo but I've been doing it for a living for 40+ years---jack

What they both said.....drain the gas.....new gas......stock plugs and a little bit of seafoam but be careful with the seafoam because it is naptha & jet fuel mixed...too much can burn pistons & valves real easy.
