If the loudness is your only deterrent, V&H sells a quiet baffle for the exhaust. I installed it in mine and it toned it down a good deal. As I mentioned above, I'll most likely be selling my 2-1 when it gets back from the ceramic coaters.

I think it sounds good too.. No louder than my bassani.. WG2011.. I was wrong, u are correct, brushed and black ceramic. Honestly.. I don't think it sits any lower than my current pipe.. I do believe it runs hot though.. I still really like it..

wrapped pipes will trap moisture resulting in rust and a cracked pipe

No offense to anyone, but the competition is the only 2-1 pipe I would consider putting on my bike. I love the look but it is pricey.

I really like my bassani.. But the comp pipe has that nice throaty sound to it.. It is a little expensive, but what isn't? Lol.. The only real issue I have with my bassani is the back pressure growl it has.. Not sure why, but it is annoying, and I am waiting on a warranty issue bracket that cracked all the way through 1000 miles into my Sturgis trip.. What a headache!! Luckily for me, I had some really large zip ties..

I saw another post on this issue some time ago. I believe they took care of it.

I just spoke to Kurt from bassani.. I guess they have a new bracket.. 3rd stage? That they are going to be sending out to me.. Honestly,
I really don't like the way the bracket is designed anyway.. It was bound to crack where it did.. Poor design, if you ask me.
