I looked into this pipe a bit longer the look for a two into one. Looks like it hangs a bit on the low side. One thing that kept me away from it is it only congress in that brushed look I would want chrome or black. But if your going to wrap it no problems. I have also heard they are extremely loud.
12HD,
It is freaking loud, but really nasty badass. Some dude at bike night had one on a Street Bob and is the real deal. He had stage 2 with woods cams.
I wanted one when I bought my Pro Pipe, but V&H only had them for 2011 and older at the time. Awesome pipe, but I'd probably get ticked in my little town.
I too have seen em around. Not a bad lookin pipe. If you got the cash, and itchin for a change, I say go for it. But where as you already have a sick 2-1 I'd probably use the cash for cams.
They run hotter when wrapped. A lot hotter. They dont expand and contract as freely as individual pipes. They crack to s*&^. Even good ones won't last nearly as long when wrapped.
I won't wrap another 2 into 1.
But that's me. I can't afford new pipes, I'm saving for a Rev Perf monster bore kit.
I love mine. I put it on earlier this summer and took off my V&H Big Radius 2:2. Rode it around for a while, and then put in a new fueling cam plate and oil pump, with tw555 cams... Haven't got it tuned yet, but I really love the combination. It sounds great, and looks great. It does not hang down too low and doesn't make any contact, even when the pegs scrape.
Was really nervous about buying it, because so many people talk trash about it being a waste of money. I'm glad I didn't listen, because I really like how it looks, sounds, and performs.
i debated on it for a while. nice pipe and sound but the fact it sits that low turned me away. also rumor has it that it runs hot so be careful with the wrap. might crack the pipe.
