this is just sad... the wheels are sick, new paint options are sick, finally blacked out parts from the factory that should have been... and then they reach into their bag of tricks and copy an 80's FZR tail section... the guy that came up with this must have designed mailboxes in the 80's and not understood what a MOTORCYCLE is... so sad
Rocket Bob's voodoo fender to the rescue!
YEAH MAN!! That's exactly what I was saying on one of the other threads. I just couldnt remember which 80's sport bike it looked like.
The rear of the Fat Bob is what stopped me from buying one so I went with the Street Bob. Now this is a little better but it looks too 80's Japanesey. Why not a regular HD fender that people will be able to work it to their taste....Oh...unpainted versions for only $459.69, mounting kit extra.
I'm not sure why there is so much disappointment. Everything a manufacturer makes isn't going to please everyone. Personally, it would be one of my picks if I were looking for a new bike. I'm liking the Fatbob more and more when I see it, older model and the new.
I like ugly, the more people hate it, the more I like it. Plus it doesn't look like everything else, you know what it is.
