The clutch on both of my bikes slipped after adding cams. Both now have the SE clutch spring, much better. The clutch lever pull is noticably stiffer, less so on my '11 than the '08.
On the Wide Glide, the clutch slipped on the dyno. On the Limited, when pasing uphill, the tach ramped up quickly while the speedo did not. No issues on either now.

Had mine done with the SE 204 cam install the stock spring was slipping. The arthritis in my finger don't like it much, but the rest of me thinks it's great.
Sounds like the ticket, its actually going in this week I had my lowers and triples powder coated black and had my indy do the disassemble and they are going to be doing the reassemble soon I just dropped of the powdered parts last night. I figured while its there just have them through in the heavy duty spring as well. My indy also told me to switch to regualr transmission fluid in the primary and that will help as well. I have been using the SE3 synthetic in all three holes but he did not recommend that at all. He has been working on Harleys for 20+ years and said transmission fluid in the primary and heavier gear lube in the transmission.
I was actually really hammering it last week and up untill then I really never got on it like this before and I noticed it seemed to be slipping a tad from what I was feeling. I did not notice it before the cams much but after the cams it seems noticeable to me. I also tend to like things to be stout and these newer easy pull clutch springs seems like they are to "easy".
I cannot live without heavy clutch spring since I installed one, instant grab no slippage.
However, it is so hard to pull the clutch, spent another $30 for a Burly easy-boy, difference is night and day. http://www.burlybrand.com/clutch/
Anyone have the part number for the Screamin Eagle spring? Also did any of you guys require new clutch disks as well? My bike has nearly 60,000 miles so I am wondering if all I need is a better spring or if the disks could be getting worn as well. Thanks
I think I am going to leave it as is and see if I dislike the pull with the heavy duty. Thanks for the heads up this is the way I will go if needed.
