Anyone have the part number for the Screamin Eagle spring? Also did any of you guys require new clutch disks as well? My bike has nearly 60,000 miles so I am wondering if all I need is a better spring or if the disks could be getting worn as well. Thanks
My '08 Wide Glide has 133K miles on her with the original clutch, yours shouldn't be a problem. The spring worked out great for me.
I cannot live without heavy clutch spring since I installed one, instant grab no slippage.
However, it is so hard to pull the clutch, spent another $30 for a Burly easy-boy, difference is night and day. http://www.burlybrand.com/clutch/
Which bike & model? I have 2013 Street Bob and am facing the problem of a very hard pull after putting the SE Spring. So much so, that after a day long ride, my hand could be in pain for another 2-3 days. Do you think this Burly thing will work on my bike model?
I would call Burly directly but I would be willing to bet it would work.

Cheaper than the route I'm going, I have the arthritis in my hands too and went with the stock spring and the variable clutch, hoping for some time this weekend to install it.
I installed the SE spring about 2 months ago. It ws a little harder to pull but after a day of riding I got used to it. Don't know for sure if it was slipping before but it sure feels tighter now. Glad I did it. Like many things Harley - probably should have been done at the factory. Just sayin.
