IT rides very well with the 12". This my first bike with a fairing and I have to say that riding without one is alot harder than with one. I am 6'1' and the wind does not hit me directly in the chest and not very hard on the face. Rides great.
Pretty bad *** looking however I would replace the screws with black flat allen heads with black washers. The silver ones detract for the looks and make it look cheap.
Turn signals need to go! I would replace them with something like these:

Just the grips are out of the fairing and I will be replacing the screws once I get it painted denim black to match the bike.t it also allows you to keep the turn signals on the handle bar.
