Amen, a tuner tuned on a Dyno will deliver better results than a magic pill bandaid fix.

I think Torque Cones really work best on open Drag Pipes.

using torque cones is not about dyno numbers but about getting back some of the low end torque lost when running straight/ non baffled pipes.

My 2001 FXD is a normally aspirated stock 88, no EFI, cams, etc...rejet and tweak, not tuning...While I really don't have anything against EFI and know there are pros and cons to both systems, I prefer carburators...easier to maintain and less to go wrong, IMO.

The Mid USA cones will be here by Friday and maybe I can get some time to install them on Saturday. Even though I am not running straight drag pipes, there is not much baffling going on so either there will be a noticeable increase in low-mid torque or there won't. $15 and an hour of my time is no big deal and well worth the price if it works as advertised.

Sooooo, if the cones are really a, "...magic pill band aid fix," and don't work as planned, I will take them out and all of ya'll Negative Nellies can say, "I told you so,"...however, if they do work as planned, then ya'll can eat crow.
