Brake light issue
My dyna wide glide has an issue. My brake light is constantly on when its in the ignition position. When I switch it to assesories the light functions normally.
I've also had an issue when riding that the speedo and odom just stop working for a few...not sure if they're related. Any help would be appreciated.

With the way bikes are now, compared to when I had one years ago, personally, I'd take it to a dealership. There's no way I could or would even try to work on mine. There's people here that do and may have a better idea. Me, I'll take the easy way out.

Sounds like a wiring harness problem that may be related to your brake light switch. In accessory I believe your brake lights should still light if the switch is engaged though. I would start by tracing all of the front harness and doing a wiggle check then by checking individual connections at the connectors.

If it is working in the accessory switch but not in the ignition setting, you can eliminate everything to the rear of the switch as the culprit. I would start at the switch. Sounds like there is a short in the ignition setting that is applying voltage to your brake lights.

Do you have a kuryakyn run/turn/brake controller on your bike? My dad has an 09 ultra and his brake lights were doing the same thing when his run/turn/brake controller fried some how. Good luck
