Default Powervision Mount?

Hi,

Not allowed to ask basic questions in the Powervision Sticky thread cause the colonels get upset with simple stuff, what mount are people using?

There's the techmount nice swivel job, techmount basic which just fits on handlebar and then there's the plastic style from fuelmoto for $10-20 and need the sun visor

Are the cheap ones any good, buy techmount?
Thanks
Mirrmu

I have the techmount and love it. High quality, low profile and secure. Not sure which model techmount tho? Been a while since I bought it.

I use the one that came with it from Fuel Moto. Not the fanciest but it gets the job done. I dont use the sunvisor that came with. Actually I hardly ever even mount my PV anymore. Usually only put it on when I am going on a rider longer than going back and forth to work.

I had the high dollar Techmount from Dynojet but it took tools to get the PV off the handlebars. Not good in the freak rain storm. So I bought this mount cheap off amazon. PV comes off in less than 10 seconds and I tuck the cable back under the tank. Good to go. I have never needed the visor. With this mount you just angle the PV slightly up or down and the sun is of no effect.

I have a RAM mounting system on my bars for phone, GPS, etc. so I just bought another ball mount for my Poervision and swap that in when needed.

That's what I use. I've used on my bars and now I use it on my quarter fairing, which helps keep the sunlight from interfering.

Can't beat it for $8.

I use the same mount from Amazon. Inexpensive and works great.

Just about any standard GPS mount will do the job for you. Mine was a cheapie for 30$ it's metal and looks like black chrome.i don't remember the make but there;s all kinds out there. no need to spend much really.

I use a kuryakyn tech connect accessory mount part #1671. It was cheap and works perfectly.
