I bought the K&N Filter for my bike from the auto parts store I work at, and I go to put it on, after I take the cover off I see a weird emblem I never saw before. So I get on my phone and start googling it "AM Air filters". Nothing. Bunch of posts from people who posted about Air Filters in the morning. Continue to take it apart; man this is weird, how do I put the K&N on? Then I see a Patent number, so I go ahead and get on the phone internet and I google the number. "Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage 1" Wait what? Really? So after about 15 more minutes of disbelief/fiddle-****ing around looking at the Arlen Ness logo I conclude it is in fact the Big Sucker. $130-$160 value (according to their website) I'm still in shock. Man was it dirty.
Long story short; I discovered I had the Big Sucker Stage 1 kit on my bike this whole time. Saving me $70 from the K&N filter.
After re-reading I guess its not that exciting, but I'm happy so I wanted to share with some fellow enthusiasts my amazing find. I'm looking at the positives in life.
I would be happy too. I got my bike used and I replaced the seat with a different one and discovered there was a Vance & Hines fuelpak installed that I didn't know about by the previous owner
